POTASH SYNDICATE.
ISSUE OF GOLD BONDS. (Received Wednesday, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, Tuesday. The English portion of the issue of the gold bonds in the potash -syndicate of Germany has been placed on the market in London and closed immediately. The issue was £5,000,000 worth of bonds bearing seven, per cent, interest, the price was 944, redeemable at 1014 by 1950. * Simultaneous issues of £3,000,000 were made in Holland, Switzerland and Sweden. The total authorised issue is £15,000,000. The syndicate was formed in 1919 to control the' German potash industry, and embraces all the owners of potash mines.—Reuter.
