In a cricket match played on the Memorial Park on Wednesday, Brooklyn House School defeated the Croydon Diocesan Boys’ Schol by 32 runs. Croydon made 45 in the first innings (Hume 25) and the Masterton boys replied with 50 (Tatham 17). Croydon’s next effort realised 37 (Pomare 17), and Brooklyn House compiled 64 (Ramsden 21).
