INTER-CLUB GAMES. The first inter-club matches for the shield presented by the Wellington Croquet Association took place on Wednesday, with the following results: Carterton A v. Featherston A, at Carterton: —Mesdames Knutson and Rathbone 20; Mesdames Wakely and Vincent 26.
Carterton A v. Masterton A, at Masterton: —Mesdames Pink and Feast 26; Mesdames Weller and Staniforth 9. Carterton B v. Feathcrston B, at Carterton: —Mrs. King and Miss Broadbent 22; Mesdames Ball and Ayre 20. Carterton B v. Greytown B, at Greytown: —Mesdames Gayfer and Vile 26; Mesdames Slater and Gregor 16.
