ENTERTAINMENTS.
PARAMOUNT. As the Opera House is otherwise engaged, the picture “A Delicious Little Devil” will ibe transferred to the Paramount for to-night. The story concerns the life of a little Irish slum girl which part is admirably acted by Mae Murray, who is supported by Rodolph Valentino. The supporting programme is good. COSY THEATRE. To those who know London with its smoke, its bustle, its types and its llower girls will appreciate “Squibs Wins the Calcutta {Sweep ’ ’ [starring Betty Balfour at the Cosy dc Luxe. Miss Balfour is cast as a London flower girl upon whom weath is suddenly cast by her drawing the winner in the Calcutta sweej). Life for her changes, of course, but her wealth does not change the girl herself. The London flower girl is a type that circumstance docs not change, for she is cast is an environment that knows real life. Miss Balfour in this role gives an interpretation that will go to the hearts not only to those Londoners who see it, but to al who have the least spark of sympathy.
