BAND CONTEST
THE SELECTION QUESTION. AN OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION. The question of whether all music at future contests must be test, instead of partly “own choice,” was raised at last night’s meeting of the Masterton contest executive. Mr. R. J. Young has received the following telegram from the secretary of the North Island Brass Bands’ Association: “Selections must be test. Send proposed programme for Masterton, which will be immediately dealt with by Association executive.”
