FURTHER INCREASE INTiMATED(By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. A retail rise on all classes of coal, is shortly to be announced. The Board of Trade, through, the Prices Investigation Tribunal, has considered a proposition from the Canterbury- Coal-dealers’ and Merchants ’ • Association that dealers lie allowed to increase the prices, apart from the recent wholesale rises, in the direction of allowing them a greater margin of working expenses. It is understood that Hie tribunal, after taking evidence, has consented to a certain increase. It has fixed what it considers a fair margin of profit for handling aiicf delivery expenses. In consequence of this decision, prices are to be increased., within the next day- or so.' The rate will vary, according to the different classes of coal.
