Mr Lloyd-George has made a stir in tho world, he bids fair to rank among the political immortals of his country. But he taxes tho regard of bis admirers occasionally when from under the robe of glory, peeps out the cloven foot. The reference to the Welsh trap-setter, Mr Brodrick and Lord Curzou, are in excrable taste. Oue cannot read them without a paug of regret. The comparison that the Unionist press is setting up between tho Chancellor of the Exchequer and Lord Morloy need not be made, because the two men are not Comparable with ouo auother. Tho latter is au intellectual giant, a philosopher, and a Chrysostom. The Chancellor is a superb fighter, who has yet to learn the value oi moderation.
