Stock Sale Report.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Limited, report on the Masterton stock sale, held yesterday, as follows:—We had a good entry of cattle, but sheep came forward below advertised numbers. We experienced a good demand for bullocks, which sold readily at auction and steers of all ages were also sought after. With the exception of a few dairy cows and heifers, we made an almost total clearance. Sheep were in good demand and sold in excess of vendors anticipations. We quote :—Cattle - 3 and 4-year old bullocks £5 3s to £5 14s 6d, 21----year steers £4 to £4 12s, mixed yearlings (good quality) £2 6s, others 30s to 345. Sheep—Butchers ewes 13s, forward ewes lis lid, store ewes (woolly) 15s lOd, ewes ancl lambs 18s. Pigs—Weaners 13s.
