Berlin, Last Night
A'sergt.-major, at the barracks at Bremen (on the River Weser), after having undergone military punishment, ordered his men to load with blank cartridge. He surreptitiously substituted ball-cartridge, and when the men were practising he directed them to fire at his heart as a target, and so met his death.
