The Daily Chronicle states that the trials of the new battleship Dreadnought ancl her armament show that it will be necessary to remove eight 12-pounder quickfirers from the forecastle to the quarterdeck, so as to allow her 12-inch guns a clear range at all degrees of elevation. It is probable that the quickfirers will receive disappearing mountings.
