GLADSTONE NOTES.

(Special to Daily Ti.mes.)

An accident of a somewhat serious nature a lad named Simms, in the employ dWlr G Tally, Longbush. It appears that Simms was lying smoking in his vhare, wdien by some means a bottle of kerosene, standing close by, was spilt over him, enveloping him in flames. His screams brought help, and he was found to be badly burnt. Dr Johnston was sent for, and attended the sufferer. It was found necessary to have him removed to the Greytown Hospital for treatment.
