(Special to Daily Times.)

The road to the station needs some attention. Its ruts and knobs proved almost too much for the stability of a large lorry load of chaff which had safely negotiated many awkward places before arriving on the aforesaid road, where the jolts and bumps received, caused it to reach the station with its load awry.

The weather has been very wintry for the past week, with but brief spells ofsunshii".. The rainfall, however, has been light.
