FOOTBALL.
Rangitumau v. Dreyerton.
Rangitumau defeated Dreyerton in the return match by five points to nil. The winners had throughout the best of a wellfought game. Without wishing to detract in any way from their opponents' victory, the local footballers complain of the ground they were asked to play on. They are not a fastidious crowd, but think that after several days' line weather it was only reasonable to 10. k for moderately dry ground, instead of a paddock which is the catchment area from the neighbouring hills and which, on play starting, became a filthy quagmire.
