Russia's Action Towards Japan.
No Alternative Except Fighting.

London, February 7.
Sir Halliday Macartney, English Secretary to the Chinese Legation, who is in London, on being interviewed said he had given up all hope of peace. Russia's policy, covering her bellicose deeds with her pacific words, left Japan no alternative, except fighting.
