FIRE ON AN ORIENT LINER.
(Recekd Amjusl 17,12.20 a.m.) Cot.O.MHO, August 15.
A fire occurred on the Orient liner Oroya in the l!ed Sea, while she was mi mile for Australian ports. There was no panic. Detachments of the Victorian and South Australian troops, returning from the Jubilee celebrations, rendered good service in maintaining order and suppressing the outbreak.
