In the first assault Princo Henry wns saved from a stab by an upper trousers button, In the lifth assault Princo Henry received a wound on tho right side of tho lower abdomen. His second therefore stopped tho f duel.

A The doctors stnto that if the * wound bad been inflicted half a,, centimetre further it would have penetrated the intestines. When the wound had been dressed Prince Henry resumed the contest, and vigorously assumed the offensive until touched on the light breast by his opponent's sword. ■ Iu the second round, which was 4 fought at close quarters, the seconds intervened. In the third round the Comto de Turin received a cut on the back of tho hand. In the fourth round Princo Henry's sword was bent against his opponent's hand, and the latter agreed to a suspension of hostilities. Tho Comto de Turin immediately afterwards,started on his return to walked to his carriage, in which he was conveyed to his residence. Xo important organ was touched by the wound, and the Prince is doing well. The result of the duel wns received with much delight in Italy. The Emperor of Germany has sent, his congratulations to the Comte de Turin.
