Neestre.—Hawking fish without a license. Fined 10s and costs. T, Dixon v. R. Warden—Assault. The prosecutor deposed that defendant, coming into a room, threw his cap at a man sitting near him. The cap, however, hit prosecutor, who remonstrated with the defendant. The latter challenged prosecutor to go outside and fight, and on his refusal of the invitation, struck him. Defendant denied the blow, but admitted a scramble. The Court fined Warden £2, with the alternative of 14 days' imprisonment. The fine was paid.
