At the Fire Bfigndea' Conference tbe report of the Committee that Lieut Bra'ddon, of Hoki.ika. was only one of many applicants entitled to a star for 26 years' service, was adopted

It was decide"! to telegraph to Superintendent Hugo that the delegates will reach Wellington on Friday, when {.hey will be entertained by that officer.
The Exeoutive was asked to requesi tbe Government to place some restriction on the use of flannellelte.
Votes of thanks were passed, which included the Nelson and Richmond Brigades, for their handsome treatment, and tbe Government for services.
The new officers were installed, President Ball nger pre&idmg. Certificates cf merit were .presented to ex-Presidents Toomey and Battle
The Conference then closed, President Ballinger asking a large mußtcr at Chrietchurch next year.
