Bobby Locke At Miramar

WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA)— The South African golfer, A. D. Locke, partnered by J. P. Hornabrook (Paraparaumu), beat A. J. Shaw (Miramar) and W. G. Horne (Wellington) 3 and 1 in an exhibition fourball at Miramar this afternoon. Locke showed supreme artistry with all his clubs and did the out journey in 33, three under bogey. He maintained his machine-like steadiness to do the home run in 35 for a card of 68, four under bogey. Had he not been short with a few chips he would have returned a record card.
