Furs Will Be Fashionable Next Winter

New fashions in furs will be u feature of the styles scheduled for next winter. According to reports brought back by furriers who have travelled overseas, furs will be dyed In vivid colours, and some in paste, shades. Some of the colours are royal blue, burgundy, bright green and scarlet, for the flat furs, and pastel shades for the long-haired furs. Autumn collections shown in London and Pans revealed the use of fur trimmings for both day and evening wear. New styles include a combination o£ two furs for coats using contrasting cuffs and collars, with cuffs strongly emphasised and very varied. Other coats, in both full and seven-eighth length have collars and cuffs of fur — such as beaver or other short-haired furs. Dresses and even hats are furtrimmed; narrow strips of fur trimming at neck and sleeves of simple, long-sleeved day frocks. Fur is used round the hemline of evening dresses. A much-travelled woman, who has returned from America stated that the most fashionable women in the United Slates are growing their hair.
