HARBOUR BOARD TO RAISE LOAN FOR SOUTH SPIT WORK
WELLINGTON, Last Night (OC>.— This week s Gazette contains authority for the Wanganui Harbour Board to raise a loan of £7487 15s 7d to be known as the “South Beach Protection Work Loan, 1950“ for the purpose of paying the cost of repair work at the South Spit. The term of the loan is for five years at a rate of interest of £3 5s per cent.
