FOUR N.Z. WOMEN SECRETARIES OF RACING CLUBS

Four women in New Zealand are secretaries of totalisator racing clubs at present. They are Mrs. M. V. Skelton, secretary of the Waikato Racing Club; Mrs. G. Lloyd, secretary of the Te Aroha Jockey Club; Mrs. F. LEllis, secretary of the Rangitikei Hunt Club; and Miss I. I. Fippard, secretary of the Napier Park Racing Club. Tlxere are no women in similar positions in the trotting world in New Zealand. Miss Sylvia .Park, however, holds the position of registrar of the New South Wales Trotting Club. She is the only woman in such a position in Australia, and has an excellent knowledge of the race pedigrees, markings and history ,of nearly every trotter raced in New South Wales.
