Castlecliff Golf Club’s Winter Season Closes Tomorrow
The end of the winter season will be marked at the Castlecliff Golf Club tomorrow afternoon next when a programme of mixed Canadian foursomes, men’sSt ableford and the men’s intermediate foursomes championship will be followed by the presentation of cups and trophies. The results of the Bristol Cup championship foursomes played last Saturday were: Senior, H. Brodie and J. A. Whetton; junior, W. R. Bennett and K. Aiken. Those eligible for the intermediate section to be played next Saturday are: G. Bousfield, I. R. Brown, R. E. Cuthbertson, R. G. Chamley, A. Climo, R. R. Dawson, W. W. Dickson, J. M. Gordon, T. Gifford Moore, H. A. Gaskin, W. Heath, D. A. Hislop, H. W. Hawke, J. Ibbetson, S. N. Jones, W. G. Knox, D. R. Logan, H. Macfarlane, G. Moulin, G. W. Reid, H. Russell, W. Shardlow, L. R. Simpson, C. H. Taylor, G. W. Ward. Play- Xj ers will choose their own partners. Q The summer programme will begin the following week and will continue each week-end throughout the season. Members of district affiliated clubs are invited as guests of the club on Saturday.
