WAVERLEY FACTORY HAS INCREASE IN CHEESE OUTPUT
An increase of 55.7 tons in its output of cheese in comparison with the 1947-48 season is revealed in the annual report for the directors of the Waverley Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd. The production for the past season was 458.4 tons. The number of suppliers of the company was 34, which was the same as for the previous season. The average grade for cheese was 92.984, compared with 92.517 in the 1947-48 season. It is expected that the average pay out for the season will be 29.741 d a pound. Of the milk received, 99.75 per cent, was first grade, .25 per cent second grade.
