Mrs Sheehy handed in the best card m the Castlecliff Ladies’ Golf Club Neilson Cup round, finishing all square on bogey and gaining live points. Mrs Aiken was second (3 down), three points, and Mrs Aitchison and Mrs Hogg (4 down) following with one point. Results of the Smith Cup matches were: Mrs Clarke beat Mrs Barber, Mrs Mahon beat Mrs Thomas, and Mrs Sheehy beat Miss Mclntyre. Results of the inter-club match between Belmont and Castlecliff on the latter links were (Belmont players being mentioned first):—Miss Jepson and Miss Mclntyre halved. Mrs Haldane beat Mrs Smith, Mrs Creighton beat Mrs Barber. Miss Bassett-Smith lost to Mrs Dawson, Mrs Williams beat Mrs Logan, Mrs Ruru beat Mrs Ekstedt, Miss Anderson lost to Mrs Clarke, Miss Kellick beat Mrs Shepherd, Miss Edgecombe beat Mrs Aiken- Mrs Burke and Mrs Hogg halved, Mrs Stott lost to Mrs Aitchison. Miss Davidson beat Miss Northover, Mrs Saltinstall beat Miss Cleland, Miss Johnson beat Miss Ellis, Miss Uttley halved with Mrs Sheehy, Mrs Percy lost to Mrs Webster, Mrs Sanko lost to Miss Keith. Mrs Sullivan lost, to Mrs Thomas, Mrs Steele halved with Miss Luke- Mrs Thornton lost to Miss O’Brien, Mrs Miekleson halved with Miss Reid, Miss Shaw lost to Mrs Bousfield, Miss Pawson defaulted to Miss Riley, Miss Rice beat Mrs Corby, Mrs Black lost to Mrs Jones.
