ISTANBUL, June 20 (Rec. 11.10 pm).—A huge wall of water, rushing down the Yeshilirami River valley, wrecked Tokat, a city of about 150,000 inhabitants, in north and central Anatolian plain. The loss of life is expected to be high. Hundreds of homes were swept away. All the city’s utilities were destroyed.
