Anglo-American Zones In Germany To Remain Fused Until March

WASHINGTON, Jan. 4 (Reed. 6pm) —The State Department announced tonight that the United States and Britain had agreed to extend temporarily their 1946 agreement to fuse their occupation zones of Germany into a single economic unit.

The “bizonia” agr°ement will continue in force until March 31 to allow additional time for France to link its occupat’on zone with the AngloAmerican.
