During the week-ena uie final of the Wanganui Golf Club’s -junior championship was played on the Belmont course and resulted in F. O. Francis beating H. R. Gilberd at the 19th. The final of the consolation handicap resulted in a win for D. T. Allen, who beat F. M. Melody 2 and
A family mixed foursomes as the week-end for the Hutchison Jug was won by Dr. and Mrs. U. Williams, 3 down.
The closing day foursomes will be played next Saturday and will be followed by the presentation of trophies won during the season. Members requiring partners are to notify the secretary.
