U.S. Government Wants Electric Power In S. Korea Restored
Recd. 8 p.m. Washington, June 29 The United States Government tonight asked the Soviet to arrange for the immediate resumption of electric power deliveries to South Korea.
In a Note delivered to the Soviet Foreign Office the United States Ambassador. Mr. Bedell Smith, said the Russian action in cutting off the power supply to the American zone was unjustified and if continued would cause unwarranted hardships for Koreans and the American occupation forces.
