Mr. J. E. Hamilton, manager of the Wanganui branch of the National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd., will leave for his new appointment at Invercargill on July 8. His successor is Mr. W. K. Gill, manager of the Pukekohe branch. Mr. H. C. Price, who died on Tuesday, was referred to at the Wanganui Male Choir’s practice on Tuesday night, when members stood in silence for a briei period. Th? late Mr. Price was a member of the choir from its earliest years until 1921. Mr. R. Cargill, court crier at the Supreme Court, Wanganui, is unable to be present at the sittings this week because of being indisposed. These are the first sittings of the Court that Mr. Cargill has missed since his appointment. 13J years ago. He expects to resume duty next week.
