N.Z. Rugby League Tour Receipts In Britain A Record
Recd. 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 26. The New Zealand Rugby League team to play Widnes on Saturday will be: Nuttall. Anderson Jordan, Robertson, McGregor, Barchard, Haigh, Davidson Johnson, Pye, McBride, Gilman and Hardwick. Haigh will be playing for the first time since he broke his ankle in the opening match of the tour at St. Helens.
Returns for the tour have now reached £35.000 and it is estimated the total receints for the English section of the itinerary will be at least £45.000. This will be a record for any Rugby League tour in Britain.
