FEDERATION OF LABOUR SUPPORTS BOYCOTT OF WEST COAST BEER
(P.A.) Wellington, Nov. 26 The West Coast beer boycott now has the official support of the New Zealand Federation of Labour. The National Council of the Federation now meeting in Wellington, has adopted a resolution endorsing the opposition of the workers of the West Coast to an increase in the price of 'beer, in particular as a step aga?*tt increases in prices generally. Messages of support for the West Coasters in their boycott of hotels where beer has been increased from 6d. to 7d have been received by the office of the Federation from trade unionists in many parts of the Dominion.
