LEGISLATION FOR WAR-TIME MARRIAGES
(PA.) Parliament Bldgs., July 22. The regulations governing war-time marriages between parties of different domicile are translated into legislation by the Matrimonial Causes (War Marriages) Bill which was introduced by leave in the Hous e of Representatives to-day. It was read a second time pro forma and referrred to the Statutes Revision Committee.
Th e Hon. H. G. Mason, Minister of Justice, said the necessity for the Bill arose from the fact that in wartime, marriages were contracted by parties belonging to different countries.
