AUSTRALIAN POTATOES
COMPLAINTS AS TO QUALITY (P.A.) Parliament Bldgs., Sept. 24. In the House of Representatives today Mr. J. A. Roy (Opp., Clutha) asked the Minister of Agriculture for information as to the condition of a large consignment of Australian potatoes recently brought to New Zealand. Mr. Roy said it had been reported that many of the potatoes landed at Wellington were being dumped immediately as totally unfit for consumption.
