COUNCILLOR DEFEATED HOSPITAL AND POWER BOARD IHEMBERS RETURNED. In the Rangitikei County three issues were decided—election of a councillor for the Ruanui Riding, three representatives ot the WanganuiRangitikei Electric-power Board, and four representatives on the Wanganui Hospital Board. RUANUI RIDING. The sitting councillor, Mr. L E Deacon, was defeated in the Ruanui Riding by Mr. J. M. B. Collier, who gained a majority of 24 votes: J. M. B. Collier 146 *L. E.
