RANGITIKEI COUNTY
COUNCILLOR DEFEATED HOSPITAL AND POWER BOARD IHEMBERS RETURNED. In the Rangitikei County three issues were decided—election of a councillor for the Ruanui Riding, three representatives ot the WanganuiRangitikei Electric-power Board, and four representatives on the Wanganui Hospital Board. RUANUI RIDING. The sitting councillor, Mr. L E Deacon, was defeated in the Ruanui Riding by Mr. J. M. B. Collier, who gained a majority of 24 votes: J. M. B. Collier 146 *L. E. Deacon 122 REPRESENTATIVES ON THE POWER BOARD. Two sitting members of flie Wanganui - Rangitikei Electric - power Board, Messrs. K. W. Dalrymple and R. G. S. Treadwell 345 REPRESENTATIVES ON HOSPITAL BOARD. Four sitting members of the Wanganui Hospital Board were returned by electors in the Rangitikei County. Mrs. M. L.
