OBITUARY

MRS. FREDERICK MILLS, PATEA. An old resident of the 1 Waverley and Patea district. Mrs. Frederick Mills, died in hospital at Patea on Tuesda3 r after a brief illness. Deceased was the widow of the late Mr.. William Henry Mills, who for some years farmed at Waverley and afterwards came to Patea, where he died some four years ago, the late Mrs. Mills living prctically in retirement in Patea from that date. She had a large number of friends in the town and is survived by a family of three sons and three daughters, one son, Mr. W. Mills, being a member of the staff of the Patea Borough Council. Another son is Mr. Darcy Mills, of Waverley, and the third Mr. John Mills, of Wellington The daughters are Mrs. J. Sinclair, of Waverley, Mrs. Barlow, of Raetihi, and Mrs. Ryland, of Wanganui.
