N.Z. FARMERS CABLE CONGRATULATIONS

MESSAGE TO GENERAL ALEXANDER (P.A.) * Wellington, Nov. 11. Arising from a suggestion made by Waikato farmers, through the Auckland executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, the Dominion president, Mr. Mulholland. has directed that the following cable be sent to General Alexander expressing the appreciation of the farmers of New Zealand for the wonderful work which the Middle East, forces have been doing: “New Zealand farmers desire to congratulate you on the brilliantly organised magnificent achievement Will you please convey our appreciation to Generals Montgomerv and Freyberg and the New Zealanders.—(Signed > N.Z. Farmers' Union."
