BEER-MAKING LABOUR
DIVERSION TO WAR EFFORT IN AUSTRALIA. Canberra, March 11. The Commonwealth Government has ordered that the production and sales of beer shall be cut to onethird of the present output throughout Australia, and steps taken to divert labour from the liquor industry to the war effort.
