SUBMARINE’S SUCCESS
MEDITERRAN EAN OPERATIONS (Recd. 9.15 p.m.) London, March 11. The submarine Utmost has returned from fifteen months’ service in the Mediterranean, during which it torpedoed an Italian cruiser and seven supply ships, blew up a deeply-laden ammunition ship, and also successfully attacked supply ships with guns. The submarine’s victims totalled 69,000 tons.
