MISSION TO INDIA (Rec. 7.5 p.m.) Washington, March 10 The State Department announced ihat the United States mission to India to explore the possibilities ol American aid to India s war effort will be headed by Colonel Louis Johnson. former Assistant Secretary of War. Other members will be Henry Grady, Arthur W. Herrington (president of the Society of Automotive Engineers). Harry E. Beyster and Dirk Dekker. Grady’s field will be general economic surveys. Herrington will specialise in the production or armoured vehicles and automotive equipment. Beyster is an engineering expert on th? organisation of plants for production. Dekker is a specialist in the training of unskilled workers for semi-skilled and skilled occupations.
