ATTACK ON STETTIN HAMBURG ALSO RAIDED London, Sept. 30. Aircraft of the Bomber Command of lhe Royal Air Force bombed Stettin and. Hamburg last night. Stettin is the German Baltic port from which supplies are being shipped to maintain the armies which are attacking Leningrad. Hamburg, second largest city in the Reich, is Germany's main shipping centre. It was last raided a fortnight ago, when 200 British bombers participated in an attack on the port. To reach Stettin the British planes had to cover an all-round journey of 1200 miles.
