LITTLE ACTIVITY OVER BRITAIN
(Recd. 11.30 p.m.) Rugby. Sept. 30. An official communique states: Very few enemy aircraft flew over this country last night. There was little activity, which was mainly restricted
to the eastern coastal districts of England and Scotland. Bombs dropped by a single enemy aircraft on a town in north-east Scotland demolished some houses and caused a number of casualties, including some deaths.—B.O.W.
