TWO MAORIS SENT TO GAOL
CASES IN GISBORNE (Press Assn.) Gisborne. Aug. 13. Two Maoris. William Kepa and Pene Poi, were sentenced by Mr. Justice Northcroft, in the Supreme Court to-day. to 18 months' hard labour for breaking, entering and theft at the Waiapu Co-operative store, at Tikitiki.. Harry Lewis Brennan was found guilty of breaking and entering Williams and Kettle's store with intent to commit, theft. He \va< sentenced to two years’ hard labour.
