TURAKINA MEETING The first meeting of the year was held in St. Andrew's Hall on Thursday, when Miss Clark presided. As several members had lately been beteaved, members stood in silence as a mark of respect and sympathy. It was decided not to nominate a member for Federation Committee. It was also decided that the sale of basketware from Auckland be held | on Wednesday, February 26. I A number of letters from men who enlisted from Turakina, were read, thanking ladies for gift parcels received. Only the best bloom competition was held. The winners were Mrs. McLachlan, Miss D. Groshinski and Mrs. McCalman.
