QUIET WEDDING
McRAE—BOWEN Wearing a frock of teal blue sheer with Ricnelieu trimming, a large pink hat and shoulder spray of roses to tone, Olga Jean, omy daugnter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bowen, was married last Saturday afternoon to Alistair Grant, elder son of Mrs. McRae and the late Mr. Mcßae, of Hawera. It was a garden wedding, the ceremony taking place at “Remoroke Vale,” tne residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Harris, Turakina, the Rev. Watt officiating. Wedding music was played by Mrs. Freda Cunningham. The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. J. A. Harris. Tne bridesmaid, Miss Noel Cameron, was frocked in crepe de ■ chine in oyster shade, and wore a brown picture hat and shoulder spray to tone. Mr. Paul Rutherford was best man. Only relatives and close friends were present. For going away the bride chose an Alice blue wool 'cloth frock, black coat and toque and black accessories.
