BRITISH FREIGHTER AFIRE
DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE Received Jan. 12, 8.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 11. The British freighter Black Heron caught fire in one hold a few hours before she was due to sail for Britain with a cargo of planes and food. The blaze was under control within an hour. Fifty detectives are investigating the outbreak.
