GOLF CLUB OPENING (Own Correspondent.) WAVERLEY, April 12. Golfing enthusiasts in the district will be pleased to learn that the official opening of the club will take place to-morrow (Saturday), when a mixed Canadian foursome will be played over 18 holes. Members are to choose their own partners and those without partners will be drawn at the clubhouse. Members who were on the course last week-end state that the links are in excellent order and that the fairways have never been in such good condition as they are at the present. Everything augurs for a successful season. TENNIS NOTES Members of the Waverley Lawn Tennis Club are reminded that the closing of the season will take place to-morrow (Saturday). During the week-end a team from Gonville will visit Waverley for an inter-club match. *
