ARMY RUGBY TRIALS

GAME PLAYED AT CAIRO ALL BLACKS INCLUDED [ Per Press Association ] WELLINGTON, March 24. Three former All Blacks were included in teams selected for the New Zealand Army Rugby trial, at Cairo, on Saturday. After the match a New Zealand team was to be chosen to play a combined British Army and Royal Air Force fifteen on Easter Monday. The trial teams are:— A Team: —Backs: McPherson (East Coast), Morrison (South Canterbury and New Zealand', Arnold (Taranaki), McMenamin (Marlborough), O'Malley and Fitzgerald (Marist, Wellington), Little (Poverty Bay). Forwards: Thomson (South Auckland). Hart (Wanganui), McMahon, A. Phillips (Hutt), Aitken (Poverty Bay), Lockhead (Canterbury Country), Wynyard (Waikato and New . Zealand), Fleming (Manawatu). B Team:—Backs: Rollinson (South Canterbury) Cochrane and Shand (Wellington B representatives), Knowles (Wellington), Griffiths (Wellington and New Zealand), L. Arnold (Taranaki), Parsons (South Canterbury). Forwards: Stow (Canterbury), Mcßeth (Auckland), Clay (Wanganui), Whitaker (Taranaki), Kidd (South Auckland), Coull (Taranaki), Anderson (Auckland), Wales (Wellington).
