CASTLECLIFF TOURNEY EASTER FIXTURE FINAL DAY’S RESULTS. The final stages of the Castlecliff Golf Club’s Easter tournament were played yesterday in ideal weather conditions. Many interesting games were experienced in the handicap events and the club events, ft was pleasing to note that three out of the four finals were won by members of other clubs. At the presentation of trophies Mr. E. A. Millward, president of ihe club, thanked all those who had attendee the tournament and congratulated the winners of the various events. He paid a tribute to the tournament secretary, Mr. A. W. Brown, and his assistant, Miss N. Brock, for their valuable assistance in running the tournament. He called for a special vote of thanks to the ladies of the club who had worked unceasingly for the catering of the players. He also thanked the caretaker, Mr. J. Wilson, for the excellent condition of the course. Mr. B. H. Beale, Mirama Club, Wellington, on behalf of the visitors, expressed appreciation of the excellent hospitality that they had received from the Castlecliff Golf Club. Mr. H Webb, oh behalf of the Wanganui Club, also expressed his appreciation of the excellent manner in which the tournament had been conducted. Mrs. Millward presented the prizes. The following are the results of the semi-finals and finals:— Uastlccliff Handicap. Semi-finals.—E. W. Donovan won from A. F. Woollams, 2 and 1; W. W. Dickson won from B. H. Beale, 5 and 3. Final.—W. W. Dickson won from E. W. Donovan, 2 up. Gornfoot Handicap. Semi-finals.—N. D. Anderson won from A. L. Kay, 2 and 1; G. Beadle won from J. Braid, 4 and 2. Final.—N. D. Anderson won from G. Beadle, 3 and 2. Kiwa Handicap, Semi-finals.—C. A. Role won from J. Boswell. 4 and 3; S. A. B. Savery won from I. Langman, 2 up. Final.—S. A B. Savery won from C. A. Role, 4 and 3. Mo-ana Handicap. Semi-final. —F. N. Gibbons won from C. G. Caswell, 1 up at 19th.; F. Perry won from J. E. Marshall, 5 and 4. Final. —F. Perry won from F. N. Gibbons, 5 and 3. No. 3 Medal.—First Division: L. R.
