AIR FORCE RELATIONS
Following a request from Mrs. Saunders, Wellington, wife of Commander Saunders, the Wanganui branch of Air Force Relations ha< been successfully launched, sponsorec by the Y.M.C.A. Ladies’ Auxiliary anc | friends. As in Wellington this branch J has headquarters at the Y.M.C.A. Mrs Hair was appointed to the chair, with Mrs. Summered as acting-secretary. Members got busy right away with oflicial lists of comforts, also knitting I instructions, supplied from htadquarI ters at Wellington, through Mrs : Greagor. I On the motion of Mrs. Jeffs it was I resolved to secure wool right away land commence knitting. I Keen members and a gift cheque ; proved a very encouraging start, anc j this group can bo relied upon to for- , ward its quota each month. For enquiries ring Y.M.C.A.. or phones 4987 • and 2755.
